Splats, Louise Nordh
The Splats story begins with a very cheeky cat. Louise Nordh was painting at home when her partner came back to find paint mysteriously smeared through every room. The culprit? Their cat - fast asleep with newly painted pink paws. That moment inspired Louise’s first Splat: a little black cat stepping out of a blob of pink paint, and the rest is colourful, chaotic history.

She’s been doodling since forever, spent 10 years in graphic design, and finally took the leap into full-time art after winning The Other Art Fair’s New Futures prize in 2022.
