The humble poppy carries fragility and resilience in the same stem, which are two qualities most of us could use a bit more of. Nancy’s paired pink, crimson and orange poppies on slender stems with an emerald green background, and the result is bright and properly joyful. It would greet you nicely from the landing or beside the front door. Keep an eye out for the fallen petal. It’s a gentle reminder that life is beautiful but short, and worth enjoying while it lasts.
